Meet Robert V. Joseph

Robert V. Joseph was born in Oakland, California and raised in the East Bay section of the San Francisco Bay Area.  He attended public schools in the Richmond Unified School District and graduated from Stanford University with a B. A. in African and African American Studies with a minor in English.  In addition to the Bay Area, he has spent time as a resident of Los Angeles and New York City.  His life journey includes more than 20 years of experience as a professional actor in the theatre industry, the television industry, and the motion picture industry.  Click here to learn more.  He won praise in reviews of the Los Angeles Times and other publications for his work.  His life journey also includes experience as a teacher at schools in the Bay Area.  He worked as a physical education teacher in the Oakland Unified School District and served as the Resident Teacher at a public charter school in San Francisco.  In connection with this work, he returned to school and graduated with a M. A. in Education from the University of California at Berkeley.  In his personal life, he has trained in martial arts for more than 25 years and earned a black belt with Shotokan Karate of America.  Since he wrote and published Words From The Spirit, he has spoken to audiences across the United States.  His work as a speaker has focused on personal development, spiritual connection, and the power to manifest aspirations into reality to live a successful life.
