Meet Robert V. Joseph

Robert V. Joseph was born in Oakland, California and raised in the East Bay section of the San Francisco Bay Area.  He attended public schools in the Richmond Unified School District and graduated from Stanford University with a B. A. in African and African American Studies with a minor in English. In addition to the Bay Area, he has lived in Los Angeles and New York City. His life work includes more than 30 years of experience as a professional actor, and he won praise in reviews of the Los Angeles Times and other publications for his work.  Click here to learn more.  His life work also includes experience as a teacher.  He served as the Resident Teacher at a public charter school in San Francisco.  And, in connection with this work, he returned to school and graduated with a M. A. in Education from the University of California at Berkeley.  He has trained in martial arts for more than 25 years and earned a black belt with Shotokan Karate of America. Since he wrote and published Words From The Spirit, he has spoken to audiences at live events across the United States.
